Spotlight on macOS 14 Sonoma
NotNotch’s deployment target is macOS 14, so Spotlight is built to run on Sonoma and later. NotNotch is a glanceable companion, not a Spotlight replacement.

Why Sonoma is the floor
The SwiftUI notch host and several system APIs assume macOS 14. Spotlight follows that floor.
Later systems
The same Spotlight path is intended to keep working through macOS 27 without bumping the minimum.
