Set up Spotify after installing NotNotch
After install, Spotify is opt-in through Settings so existing users are not surprised. Spotify can drive Now Playing when that controller is available.

First launch
Finish onboarding, then open Settings and enable Spotify if you want it.
Permissions
macOS may ask for calendar, notifications, or files depending on Spotify. Decline any you do not need.
