The menu bar is always there; macOS Sequoia in NotNotch is glanceable and then gone. Now Playing on newer systems can use MediaRemoteAdapter paths introduced around macOS 15.4.

When the notch is better
Use macOS Sequoia in the notch when you want a short live view without another icon in the menu bar.
When the menu bar stays
NotNotch does not hide Control Center or system extras. macOS Sequoia complements them.
