Troubleshooting App Sandbox in NotNotch
If App Sandbox is missing, check Settings, display targeting, and macOS permissions first. File pickers use the user-selected read-write entitlement rather than a blanket home-folder grant.

Confirm App Sandbox is enabled and that the notch is not hidden on that display.
It appears on the wrong screen
Use the display-follow setting so App Sandbox tracks the screen you are looking at.
