Shipping App Sandbox behavior is a local Mac utility. File pickers use the user-selected read-write entitlement rather than a blanket home-folder grant. Network is not required for the core notch host.

Sparkle updates and optional music backends may need a network. App Sandbox itself is described as on-device where the feature allows.
