The menu bar is always there; App Sandbox in NotNotch is glanceable and then gone. File pickers use the user-selected read-write entitlement rather than a blanket home-folder grant.

When the notch is better
Use App Sandbox in the notch when you want a short live view without another icon in the menu bar.
When the menu bar stays
NotNotch does not hide Control Center or system extras. App Sandbox complements them.
