How to use App Sandbox in the Mac notch
To use App Sandbox in NotNotch, enable the related setting and look at the top edge of the display. File pickers use the user-selected read-write entitlement rather than a blanket home-folder grant.

Open NotNotch Settings and find the control for App Sandbox. The companion only shows what you enable.
