Set up Quick Look after installing NotNotch
After install, Quick Look is opt-in through Settings so existing users are not surprised. Shelf files can preview with Quick Look without leaving the notch.

First launch
Finish onboarding, then open Settings and enable Quick Look if you want it.
Permissions
macOS may ask for calendar, notifications, or files depending on Quick Look. Decline any you do not need.
