Set up Now Playing after installing NotNotch
After install, Now Playing is opt-in through Settings so existing users are not surprised. Playback and artwork sit in the closed notch so you do not hunt for a player window.

First launch
Finish onboarding, then open Settings and enable Now Playing if you want it.
Permissions
macOS may ask for calendar, notifications, or files depending on Now Playing. Decline any you do not need.
