How to use Now Playing in the Mac notch
To use Now Playing in NotNotch, enable the related setting and look at the top edge of the display. Playback and artwork sit in the closed notch so you do not hunt for a player window.

Open NotNotch Settings and find the control for Now Playing. The companion only shows what you enable.
