multiple displays is meant to stay glanceable, with keyboard shortcuts for the actions you repeat. The companion can follow the display you choose instead of cloning every screen.

Open without the pointer
Assign a shortcut in Settings if you open multiple displays many times a day.
Keep it small
The notch should not become another full-screen app. multiple displays stays a short interaction.
