The menu bar is always there; macOS 27 in NotNotch is glanceable and then gone. NotNotch keeps a macOS 14 deployment floor and is intended to run on macOS 27 without raising the minimum to 27.

When the notch is better
Use macOS 27 in the notch when you want a short live view without another icon in the menu bar.
When the menu bar stays
NotNotch does not hide Control Center or system extras. macOS 27 complements them.
