MacBook Air on macOS 14 Sonoma
NotNotch’s deployment target is macOS 14, so MacBook Air is built to run on Sonoma and later. Air models with a notch get the same closed-notch live activities as Pro machines.

Why Sonoma is the floor
The SwiftUI notch host and several system APIs assume macOS 14. MacBook Air follows that floor.
Later systems
The same MacBook Air path is intended to keep working through macOS 27 without bumping the minimum.
