How to use live-activity stack in the Mac notch
To use live-activity stack in NotNotch, enable the related setting and look at the top edge of the display. Notifications sit in front of music and weather; swipe moves between them.

Open NotNotch Settings and find the control for live-activity stack. The companion only shows what you enable.
