Set up island shape after installing NotNotch
After install, island shape is opt-in through Settings so existing users are not surprised. The closed pill can follow a notch or floating island silhouette.

First launch
Finish onboarding, then open Settings and enable island shape if you want it.
Permissions
macOS may ask for calendar, notifications, or files depending on island shape. Decline any you do not need.
