Set up hover-to-open after installing NotNotch
After install, hover-to-open is opt-in through Settings so existing users are not surprised. Moving the pointer into the chin can open the notch after a configurable delay.

First launch
Finish onboarding, then open Settings and enable hover-to-open if you want it.
Permissions
macOS may ask for calendar, notifications, or files depending on hover-to-open. Decline any you do not need.
