Keyboard control for hover-to-open
hover-to-open is meant to stay glanceable, with keyboard shortcuts for the actions you repeat. Moving the pointer into the chin can open the notch after a configurable delay.

Open without the pointer
Assign a shortcut in Settings if you open hover-to-open many times a day.
Keep it small
The notch should not become another full-screen app. hover-to-open stays a short interaction.
