Why hover-to-open is glanceable in NotNotch
hover-to-open is sized for a closed-notch chip or a short open panel, not a document window. Moving the pointer into the chin can open the notch after a configurable delay.

Closed vs open
Closed shows the live state. Open is for the next action. hover-to-open should make sense in both.

Animations stay short. Reduced-motion users should still understand hover-to-open without the demo loop.
