Does Hello demo extension work offline?
Shipping Hello demo extension behavior is a local Mac utility. The first-party Hello plugin is off by default and can show a tab plus a host-drawn chip. Network is not required for the core notch host.

Sparkle updates and optional music backends may need a network. Hello demo extension itself is described as on-device where the feature allows.
