Set up Focus modes after installing NotNotch
After install, Focus modes is opt-in through Settings so existing users are not surprised. The notch stays a utility; it does not replace Focus filters.

First launch
Finish onboarding, then open Settings and enable Focus modes if you want it.
Permissions
macOS may ask for calendar, notifications, or files depending on Focus modes. Decline any you do not need.
