Does extensions work offline?
Shipping extensions behavior is a local Mac utility. Settings can install .boringnotch packages; unsigned binaries stay manifest-only. Network is not required for the core notch host.

What needs a network
Sparkle updates and optional music backends may need a network. extensions itself is described as on-device where the feature allows.
AI is separate
NotNotch AI is in development and is not required to use extensions.
