If you are extending NotNotch, Dynamic Island on Mac is a host surface or a documented constraint. The closed notch is a Mac-native live-activity stack inspired by glanceable iPhone UI, not an iOS port.

Packages declare placements in manifest.json. Dynamic Island on Mac may be openTab, liveActivity, or a first-party module.
Do not disable library validation
Unsigned third-party binaries stay manifest-only. That is intentional.
