Set up Dark Mode after installing NotNotch
After install, Dark Mode is opt-in through Settings so existing users are not surprised. The companion follows system light and dark appearance.

First launch
Finish onboarding, then open Settings and enable Dark Mode if you want it.
Permissions
macOS may ask for calendar, notifications, or files depending on Dark Mode. Decline any you do not need.
