Dark Mode is meant to stay glanceable, with keyboard shortcuts for the actions you repeat. The companion follows system light and dark appearance.

Open without the pointer
Assign a shortcut in Settings if you open Dark Mode many times a day.
Keep it small
The notch should not become another full-screen app. Dark Mode stays a short interaction.
