Keyboard control for compact mode
compact mode is meant to stay glanceable, with keyboard shortcuts for the actions you repeat. The open notch can shrink to a player-first panel without a tab bar.

Open without the pointer
Assign a shortcut in Settings if you open compact mode many times a day.
Keep it small
The notch should not become another full-screen app. compact mode stays a short interaction.
