How to use brightness HUD in the Mac notch
To use brightness HUD in NotNotch, enable the related setting and look at the top edge of the display. Brightness changes can appear as a notch companion instead of the default overlay.

Turn it on
Open NotNotch Settings and find the control for brightness HUD. The companion only shows what you enable.
Use it at a glance
Keep the notch closed for the live chip, or open it when you need the full panel. Brightness changes can appear as a notch companion instead of the default overlay.
