battery is sized for a closed-notch chip or a short open panel, not a document window. Battery can appear as a short HUD rather than a permanent live activity.

Closed vs open
Closed shows the live state. Open is for the next action. battery should make sense in both.
Motion
Animations stay short. Reduced-motion users should still understand battery without the demo loop.
